All products now supporting MacOS :: EFTlab Connects at Sydney CEO event

Message

Greetings!

This month we begin with thanks to the organizers and participants in the Heads Over Heels Portfolio Event in Sydney. Heads Over Heels’ mission is to increase the representation of women leading high growth businesses. The Portfolio Event is an opportunity for selected CEOs to present their companies to senior business and community leaders, who in turn offer game changing business introductions. The evening was filled with inspirational people. EFTlab’s presentation was well received and there was great interest in our products and company. You’ll find a link to the presentation below. Congratulations also to fellow presenting CEO’s from Grace Papers and Play2Lead.

Our development team continues to forge ahead, with new MacOS support for BP‑Tools and BP‑Sim; a BP‑Switch tutorial; a new addition to BP‑Tools; and number of interesting enhancements to BP‑Switch. All are detailed below.

  • BP‑Switch update: This month, the focus has been on security and reporting. We have implemented a flexible reporting framework that supports both batch and real time queries being executed against the application in a manner that is both secure and provides feedback to the user as soon as possible. The security has had some work due to changes to the PA:DSS requirements, bringing BP‑Switch and BP‑Node in line with the latest security specifications. Store and forward capability has been added, allowing virtually any information, regardless of sensitivity level, to be stored and forwarded to remote systems as necessary guaranteeing at least once delivery when necessary.

  • BP‑Tools gets dynamic CVV calculation algorithm: CVV (Card Verification Value) is a static 3-digit number encoded on Visa credit and debit cards as a risk management service. Dynamic CVV value is the same, but introduces better security as this value is generated for each transaction. BP‑Tools 15.07 is now out and brings this functionality to all payments enthusiasts.
